Do I need Insurance?
Direct Primary Care is not a replacement for insurance. Access to emergency, speciality, surgical and hospital care remains important.
Some folks choose to become DPC members and continue commercial insurance, but enjoy unlimited easy access to their primary care doctor and continued relationships with specialists.

Others carry high deductible plans with an HSA or FSA and enjoy cost-savings by being DPC members and don't feel bogged down by balancing access to care with high bills.

Consider exploring a Healthshare plan, which works well for those without expected specialty care and no significant preexisting conditions. Often DPC members are provided a discount.
